Dennis Cheruiyot joins the South Plains College men’s cross country and track and field teams as a sophomore for the 2025–2026 season, specializing in the 5K, 10K, and cross country events. Originally from Eldoret, Kenya, Dennis is a state champion and transfer from West Texas A&M University.
His goals include continuing his academic journey in Exercise Science and progressing to a Division I program, while developing further as a competitive distance runner.
