Jantsen Morris begins his freshman season with the South Plains College men’s rodeo team as a team roper. A native of Muleshoe, Texas, Jantsen had a strong high school career at Farwell High School, where he was a two-time THSRA state qualifier and a two-time Junior World Finals qualifier.
At South Plains, Jantsen is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Leadership with ambitions of winning the College National Finals Rodeo in team roping, while also continuing to pursue and strengthen his relationship with the Lord.

The South Plains College Rodeo Team had an outstanding weekend at the New Mexico Junior College Rodeo in Lovington, NM, held October 23-25. The Texans brought home multiple top finishes, with several athletes advancing to the short round and earning major titles.
