Grayson Hastings joins the South Plains College men’s cross country and track and field teams as a freshman for the 2025–2026 season, competing in the steeplechase, 5K, and 10K. A native of Lubbock, Texas, and a graduate of Monterey High School, Grayson earned 4x All-District honors, 4x Regional honors, and 2x State qualifications, while leading his team to 3 District Championships.
His goals include competing at a four-year college program for cross country and track, while pursuing a degree in Biology and continuing to develop as a student-athlete.

Competing against some of the top programs in the region, the Texans and Lady Texans posted several personal bests and have several nationals bound.
