Lady Texans Post Strong Finishes, Qualifiers at Stan Scott Invite
The South Plains College Lady Texans competed in their second indoor meet of the season at the Stan Scott Invite and turned in another strong performance with several top finishes and national-qualifying marks.
LUBBOCK, TX - The South Plains College Lady Texans competed in their second indoor meet of the season at the Stan Scott Invite and turned in another strong performance with several top finishes and national-qualifying marks.
In the women's 600 yards, Morgane Lenoir placed fourth with a time of 1:26.04, followed closely by Cheffonia Houston in fifth at 1:27.34. In the 800 meters, Jennifer Lozano finished fourth in 2:22.69, while Icela Swaby placed sixth with a time of 2:30.67.
Alison Guaman continued her strong start to the season in the distance events, finishing fourth in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:37.07.
In the field, Kahllah Bailey placed sixth in the shot put with a mark of 12.77 meters, and Suerena Alexander followed in seventh at 12.74 meters. Bailey also earned a third-place finish in the weight throw with a throw of 13.69 meters. In the triple jump, Leticia Ouaba claimed second place with a leap of 12.73 meters, while Ta'Nae Henderson finished seventh with a mark of 11.39 meters.
After two meets, the Lady Texans have compiled the following national-qualifying marks for the 2025–26 indoor season:
