Kaymi Jones begins her freshman season with the South Plains College women’s rodeo team as a talented barrel racer. A native of Aledo, Texas, Kaymi built her rodeo foundation at Aledo High School, where she developed her competitive edge and strong work ethic.
With ambitions of owning her own company and continuing to run barrels after college, Kaymi is dedicated to excelling both in the arena and in the classroom while pursuing her degree in Business.

The South Plains College Rodeo Team had an outstanding weekend at the New Mexico Junior College Rodeo in Lovington, NM, held October 23-25. The Texans brought home multiple top finishes, with several athletes advancing to the short round and earning major titles.
