#9 South Plains College Lady Texans Dominate Cisco College 82-51 at the Texan Dome
The No. 9-ranked South Plains College Lady Texans delivered a commanding all-around performance on November 26, 2025, defeating Cisco College 82-51 at the Texan Dome.
LEVELLAND, TX - The No. 9-ranked South Plains College Lady Texans delivered a commanding all-around performance on November 26, 2025, defeating Cisco College 82-51 at the Texan Dome. After holding a 46-36 lead at halftime, South Plains erupted in the second half, locking down defensively and surging offensively to outscore Cisco 36-15 over the final 20 minutes.
The Lady Texans put together one of their best defensive quarters of the season, holding Cisco to just 3 points in the fourth quarter, completely shutting down any chance of a comeback.
Scoring was balanced across the roster, with all but two Lady Texans finding the basket. Isabel Joao led the team with 22 points, including 10 made free throws. Shrouq Amer added 11 points, while Maya Braxton-Young finished with 10.

South Plains dominated the glass with 51 rebounds, while forcing 18 Cisco turnovers, which they converted into 22 points. The bench played a major role as well, contributing 27 points to the victory. The Lady Texans built their largest lead (32 points) with 52 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
With the win, South Plains improves to 8-1 on the season.
The Lady Texans now head to Plano for two games: Friday, November 28th against Kilgore College, and Saturday, November 29th against Tyler Junior College. They return home the following weekend, December 5-6, before a month-long break leading into conference play, beginning January 5th against Odessa College.
