The Lady Texans move to 6-7 on the year and will open conference play on Thursday when they travel to Big Spring to take on Howard College at 5:45 p.m. The contest will stream live on ESPN+.
Celia Sumbane led South Plains with 15 points, while Jennifer Silva netted 13 points and Matilda Soderlund finished netted nine points.
