Courtney Randle signs with LSUS
Courtney Randle joined the South Plains College Lady Texan basketball team after a year at La Marque, Texas. Randle finished the year with roughly 15 points and 7 rebounds per game. She represented South Plains in the WJCAC when she was awarded as a All-Conference player and Newcomer of the Year.
Randle is a 5-7 wing that received the player of the week twice, once for the week of Feb. 8 – 14 and then Feb. 22-28. During the Feb. 12 game Randle pulled down a season-high of 13 rebounds against Clarendon College while also scoring 20 points during the game. In the Lady Texans game against Midland College on Feb. 24, Randle made 27 points, and then in the loss against Odessa on Feb. 26, Randle made 19 points.
Randle had one of her season best scores in a game in the loss to Midland on Feb. 24, shooting 43.5 percent from the field.
Her next step is playing at Louisiana Sate University at Shreveport. Where she will be majoring in mass communications.
