Texans Host Texan Classic Beginning Friday

The South Plains College men’s basketball team is set to make their 2015 home debut this weekend as SPC hosts the Texan Classic beginning November 13 at the Texan Dome. The tournament is set for tipoff with Hill College taking on Coastal Bend College at 4 p.m. on Friday, followed by a matchup with South Plains College squaring off with Mesa Community College at 6 p.m.

Texans Pick Up First Win Behind Che Bob's 29 Points

Plano— The South Plain’s College men’s basketball team picked up its first win of the season Saturday, downing Carl Albert State College 91-78 at Collin County. The Texans had four players score in double figures, including sophomore guard Che Bob who led all scorers with 29 points. Deontae North contributed with 20 points for SPC, while Roberto Gallinat and Michael Wolfe each had 12.
