2013 Outdoor:  Swept the 800M and 1,500M runs a the national outdoor championships and was also a member of the runner-up 4x400M relay team. 

2013 Indoor:  Became a three-time NJCAA champion when she took top honors in the 600M and 800M runs at the national indoor championships and was also a member of the NJCAA champion 4x400M relay team.

2012 Cross Country:  Competed in six meets during the season, including the national cross country championship where she finished 95th place overall … Best showing of the season came at the Region 5 championships where she covered the 5,000M course in 18:47.00, finishing third.

High School: Graduated in 2012 … Competed primarily in the 800M and 1500M events … holds personal records of 2:03 (800M) and 4:32 (1500M).

Intended College Major: Broadcast Journalism

Hobbies: Singing, listening to music, and watching videos and Pastor Blair and other preachers on YouTube.

Personal: Born January 2, 1993 in Jamaica, Desreen is the daughter of Delopena and Carline and she has three siblings … Her goal is to be a positive role model for kids in her home country of Jamaica so they take their education seriously and do not neglect them for sport … Hopes to represent her country in the Olympics in the future … Favorite athlete is Kenia Sinclair.
