Athletic Accomplishments at Stinnett:  Qualified for State in cross country in 2007; Four-time regional qualifier in cross country; Regional qualifier in 400 meter relay and 1,600 meter relay in 2006, 400 meter relay, 800 meter relay and 1,600 meter relay in 2007, and 400 meter relay and 800 meter relay in 2008; Two-time All-District selection and Defensive Player of the Year in volleyball; All-District selection in basketball; Won Fighting Lady Comanche Heart Award; Participated in volleyball, basketball, softball, cross country and track.  Other Accomplishments:  Wendy's High School Heisman Award winner; Who's Who Among American High School Students; Leadership and Student Council Award; Graduated Magna Cum Laude; Voted Ms. Comanche, Most Beautiful, Best Smile, Best Dressed, Class Favorite and Homecoming Queen.
SPC Athletic Accomplishments: 
Finished ninth in the 3,000 meter Steeplechase at the 2009 NJCAA outdoor track championships in a season best time of 12:18.20.  Was a member of the distance medley relay team that finished in eighth place in the 2009 Indoor Track and Field Championships.  At the 2008 regional cross country championships Shayla crossed the line in 11th place.
