HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The South Plains College Texan track and field team ran away from the competition and laid claim to their seventh consecutive team title when they finished the three days of competition with 140 team points Saturday evening at Gowans stadium in Hutchinson, Kan.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The South Plains College Texan and Lady Texan track teams have begun their defense of the team championships they earned a year ago when SPC hosted the meet at the Texan Track and Field Complex in Levelland.

HUTCHINSON – With the regular season now over, the Texan and Lady Texan track and field teams will travel to Hutchinson, Kan., for the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships where they will attempt to defend the titles they won last May in Levelland.

In fact, South Plains College has swept the last four men's and women's titles and the Texans are now seeking their seventh team championship in a row.

LUBBOCK – With the season winding down and the NJCAA Championships on the horizon, the South Plains College Texan and Lady Texans had another impressive showing in an evening meeting at the Terry and Linda Fuller Complex on the campus of Texas Tech University.

In addition to picking up 12 event titles, three school records fell in remarkable fashion.
