Tryout Application and Information
LEVELLAND – The South Plains College department of athletics will host cheerleading tryouts Sunday, April 7 that will determine the 2013-14 cheerleading squad. A mandatory clinic for all participants will be Saturday, April 6.
Tryouts will take place in the South Plains College Physical Education Complex.

LEVELLAND, Texas - Each year, the South Plains College Texan cheerleaders adopt a service project in an attempt to make a positive impact on the local community of Hockley County. This year, the squad chose to raise money for the Hockley County Child Welfare Board by selling raffle tickets for an Apple iPad 2. Selling tickets for much of the fall, the cheerleaders earned $1,000 and presented a check to Sharon Vaughan Monday night at their Christmas party in the Texan Dome.
