LEVELLAND - The NJCAA No. 1 ranked South Plains College Texans made nearly 60-percent of their shots from the field on their way to clobbering the New Mexico Military Broncos 114-66 Monday night at the Texan Dome. Freshman point guard Devonte Smith - SPC's leader in minutes played - sat out the entire second half after recording nine assists in the first 20 minutes.

The Texans finished with seven players scoring in double figures, led by Greg Gainey with 14 points.
