LEVELLAND, Texas - The South Plains College Lady Texan basketball team will be a busy group over the next four days as they are scheduled to play four games on four consecutive days. The first two will be against ranked opponents at the Seward County Days Inn Classic in Liberal, Kan.

South Plains (1-2) will look to do what they did last season, which is to knock-off NJCAA ranked Seward County and Hutchinson on consecutive days.

Host school Seward County (5-0) enters with an undefeated record and No. 14 ranking in the NJCAA. Their signature victory so far is a 86-63 drubbing of Monroe College, previously ranked No. 17 in the NJCAA Pre-season polls.

Ranked No. 7 in the initial NJCAA polls, Hutchinson has moved up to No. 3 after beginning their season with four consecutive wins and no defeats.

South Plains will play Seward County at 6 p.m. Friday, November 18 before tangling with Hutchinson at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Lady Texans will return home for their final game at the Texan Dome for the fall semester when they play host to Cochise College at 4 p.m. Sunday, November 20. On Monday, November 21 they will travel to Cisco for a rematch with Cisco College. South Plains defeated Cisco 53-47 on November 12 at the Texan Dome.

Seward County will be providing a live video stream of each game during the Days Inn Classic. Friday's game versus Seward will be free of charge while Saturday's game versus Hutchinson will require a fee of $3.99.
