PORTALES, N.M. - The South Plains College rodeo teams will be hitching their trailers and making the haul to Portales to compete in the first rodeo of the 2011 college circuit at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales. This is the first of five fall rodeos in the Southwest region.
South Plains College has a large crew competing over the next three days with the bulk of the cowboys and cowgirls slated for Friday.
